Our client wanted a specific ‘side by side’ designed development on the property but had a previous refusal from Council for such a development and Council were staunchly against such a proposal for the site. CS building design led the design of the second application to council. A consequent VCAT appeal against a second refusal by Council in October 2015 resulted in a permit being issued for the development at the direction of VCAT. Our design consisted of 4 bedrooms, an upstairs retreat, a downstairs master and WIR and an outdoor alfresco area that flowed through to the main family area of the home.
